Open to any student in Iosco County entering grades 7, 8, or 9 in fall 2024.
Explore 3 career paths over 2 days.
Building Trades: Use the tools and equipment of residential construction and carpentry.
Welding: Explore Gas Metal Arc welding, use a Plasma Cutting Machine, and create a group project.
Automotive: Includes tire changing, repairing & balancing, using a tire pressure monitoring system, and a participate in an engine disassembly team event.
Lunch included.
Clothing requirements for safety: No open toe shoes, sandals, or flip flops. Must have shoes/boots. No tank tops. No shorts. Must have long pants with no holes and shirt. Long hair should be pulled up. No dangling jewelry.
